TOMATO SAUCE

~~ INGREDIENTS ~~

  • 6 roma tomatoes
  • 1 white onion
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 stick celery
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 dash italian seasoning
  • 1 sprinkle salt
  • 2 twists black pepper
  • 2 splashes red wine
  • 1 teaspoon better than bouillon

~~ INSTRUCTIONS ~~

    Start olive oil heating on medium heat in a small saucepan

    Roughly chop onion, carrots, celery, and garlic

  3. 3

    Add chopped veggies to saucepan along with the italian seasoning, salt, and pepper

  4. 4

    Stir occasionally until veggies get some color

  5. 5

    Meanwhile, halve your roma tomatoes

  6. 6

    Once the veggies have a bit of color, add tomatoes and red wine

  7. 7

    Simmer until all the veggies are nice and soft

  8. 8

    If you need more liquid, mix the better than bouillon with some hot water and add that

  9. 9

    Once all the veggies are nice and soft, blend until smooth
