SALSA ROJA

~~ INGREDIENTS ~~

  • 10 roma tomatoes
  • 1 white onion
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 4 dried guajillos
  • 1 handful dried chiles de arbol
  • 1 bunch cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons chipotles in adobo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Chili Oil
  • 1 handful habaneros
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons chicken bouillon powder

~~ INSTRUCTIONS ~~

    Halve tomatoes, quarter onion, peel garlic, and place on a baking sheet

    Broil until veggies have a deep char

  3. 3

    Meanwhile, rinse the dried chilis and place in a heat-proof bowl

  4. 4

    Pour boiling water over the dried chilis and cover

  5. 5

    Add the broiled veggies, rehydrated chilis, cilantro, chipotles in adobo sauce, chili oil, habaneros, lime juice, and chicken bouillon powder to a blender

    Blend until smooth
